Heightmax investigation by local ABC news station

More on one of my favorite scams going, Heightmax. Here’s an excerpt from an ABC News WFTS TV report. (Hat tip to Rob).
The following is a conversation between ABC Action News reporter Linda Hurtado and the president of Sunny Nutritionals [Sunny Sia]:
Linda Hurtado: "We've had some experts tell us it looks like just vitamins and minerals, and there is nothing in the product that would make someone grow."
Sunny Sia: "Its hard to say that. Alternative medicines always have its own side, people who agree to that and people who don't. If you look at our web site you see articles that show that teenagers intake of vitamins A and iron helps them to grow taller than people who didn't take them."
LH: "You mentioned on your web site, your original web site there was the name of a doctor who actually formulated the Heightmax formula."
SS: "Yea basically we bought the formula from this doctor"
LH: "What's his name?"
SS: "I forgot his name."

you must be joking? heightmax was shutdown by the FTC for fraud.

My daughter is 23 years old and started taking HeightMax four months ago. She has grown one and a half inches. When I went to the wedsite to place a reorder, it had been shut down. Too bad. Maybe the product didn't work for everyone but it did for her. I still want more.
