The San Francisco Chronicle published the article "Tips for protecting yourself against ID theft" in the Sunday June 15 edition. Truston was featured as one of four leading providers of identity theft protection services.
Fraud-alert services place and renew them for you. Providers include LifeLock (whose CEO has been sued for a variety of things), Debix, Trusted ID and MyTruston. A typical cost is $10 per month. Unlike credit monitoring, fraud alerts can prevent someone from getting credit in your name.
