SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – (Marketwire - December 10, 2008) – Truston®, a provider of award-winning online services for identity theft protection, today announced the inclusion of its innovative and unique technology solutions to the portfolio of the Affinion Security Center, a leading identity theft protection innovator with nearly 35 years of experience. Effective immediately, Truston's Software-as-a-Service technology will be deeply integrated within the Affinion Security Center’s core solution platform, IdentitySecure.

The IdentitySecure solution was created to address the modern threats facing consumers, threats that cannot be adequately monitored by the average individual, let alone technologically-savvy ones. The IdentitySecure service includes features such as monitoring of social security numbers and public records to detect criminal activity, frequent data sweeps of the internet for personal information, credit monitoring, and monitoring of underground chat rooms where thieves buy and sell personal information. The service now also includes Truston's Fraud Assist Toolbox providing easy-to-follow, step-by-step prevention tools including credit bureau fraud alerts, as well as its comprehensive resolution service.

“We're delighted to partner with Truston to bring its powerful technology to our IdentitySecure solution,” said Tom Rusin, CEO of Affinion Security Center. “Truston's unique self-guided online services are perfectly suited to many consumers who want online control without needing to become an expert in security. The automatic reminders are hugely beneficial, relieving our members of the burden of knowing what to do next. We look forward to adding the Truston benefit to more of our products.”

“The IdentitySecure launch is the first result of what we’ve designed to be a long-standing partnership with Affinion,” said Tom Fragala, CEO and founder at Truston. “Being tightly integrated with their core IdentitySecure platform allows Affinion to continue to launch innovative, value-added benefits to new and existing products. We're proud to be selected as a partner and this further confirms that our superior technology, low cost, and private-label approach differentiates us from the rest of the market.”
